The kickoff concert took place October 29, 2023 at the new, state-of-the-art Guild Theater in Menlo Park. Our next big production will take place in the Spring of 2025 and feature collaborations between rising young artists and Bay Area musical legends -- with support from professional athletes and other public figures. Details to be announced this Fall. Stay tuned!
By establishing a network of partnerships with leading arts schools and organizations, Follow the Music will help identify and promote top young talent, and encourage a spirit of community and collaboration between these organizations and their students.
Mentoring and supporting young artists through speaking engagements, conversations and content. The goal is to help create a healthy ecosystem for musicians and young people interested in the arts. There will be opportunities to learn about touring, recording, concert promotion, production, finding agents and managers and more.
Through partnership with concert promoters, venues, sport teams, arts organizations, labels, distributors, media/sponsors, public agencies and more, Follow the Music will help young artist and art organizations connect to new and existing promotional, educational and performance opportunities. Initial partners include Noisepop, the Oakland Roots/Soul, KALW and The Guild Theatre - with more being announced regularly.
