The Launch Event took place October 29, 2023 at the Guild Theater in Menlo Park and featured performances by rising young artists from Oakland School for the Arts, GLIDE Memorial Church + SFJAZZ, San Francisco Community Music Center, ELM (Enriching Lives Through Music) and Blue Bear School of Music. Featured guests included music legend and Elevate Oakland co-founder Sheila E., and 49er legend and NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott. The hosts for the night were Sterling James and Tennessee Mowry.
